Snow Storm Days

This quiet, yet intense snow storm was one of my favorite moments in Detroit. It builds this little pocket of safety around you; the snow obscures the harsh realities of the abandoned buildings, and softens all the sounds of the city.

I walked down to the harbor, and although it was empty, it was not quite lonely. A flock of geese and ducks joined me in enjoying this moment.

I accidentally light leaked the roll when winding it up, but I don’t consider it a complete loss. I just like to think I gave some photos to the invisible world. 🙂
